Making Quilts for my Grandsons

This is how I spent the day yesterday

Working on Quilts for my grandsons for Christmas

Glued to the sewing machine!

I have finished the top of one 

and have the top of the other

over half done!

See I have lots more to cut and sew

OK I am playing with making a Quilt

I bought a book off the internet called Quilt a Koala

I was so happy to get it 

there is 18 different Australian animals in it!

So today I started playing with one of them

Fringe Element Tat Days

The tat days are in September!

But I have been working on what I will be teaching

These are some of the flowers I will be teaching

some might change as I think of new ideas

But they are all just rings and chains

Nothing hard or challenging

The hardest part might be the stem but it is 

only Purl tatted around Floral wire.

This will be a 2 hour class

in that time most will be able to do one flower

then you will be able to do the rest as you wish!

The Tatting Convention!!

Well it is over for this year!

i have some good pictures!!

I think these are so cute they were in the fire house used to hold the tables on the rack.

I think next year we need to design more horses and have pony races for stress relief!!!!!

The Tatting Weekend

It has started!!!  We got together for supper and tomorrow classed begin!!!!!

Getting ready for The convention

OK I am slowly getting ready!!! I finished the sewing and today i made the 3 bean salad. Tomorrow i will make the tortellini salad and on Thursday i will make the Acini de pepi salad and on Friday i will make the corn bread.  And i still hope to get one more doily finished as a sample.

Getting ready for the convention!!!

I have been working hard this past week on getting ready!

I have printed off my patterns for the star Attraction doily!!

I have sewed two animals for the auction!!

I have done a couple of raffle items!!

Now i only have to do some cooking!!

Here is the doily that i am teaching!!
