New York State Fair Entries

Here are the items i am entering in the New york State fair. I am taking them up on friday the 14 and willlet you know how they do when i get the notice from the fair.

My New York State Fair Entries

Well i have gotten all my fair tatting done this year. I am entering 5 items, A christmas ball, A flat christmas ornament, My ornament design, Nina Libin Neckalce, A the sun flower centerpeice. I have to take them to Syracuse on August 14. I will post pictures after I block the doily i dont want to do it to soon so i will get it doent his week i hope.

Tea Pots

Well i am back to tatting more tea pots from Martha's new book i am hoping to make them fit in a tray and enter them in the fair this year. I have done the Maltese ring tea pot and the creamer and sugar, and yesterday i did the Celtic Tea pot, today i am starting the Shamrock tea pot, then i am not sure of the next one because the others in the book are to tall so i might have to change one some to make it fit or just do one of the one i have done again, not sure yet what i will do.When it is done i will take a picture of it so show everyone

I need to post more often

I am sorry that life does get in the way of me posting more often. My friend Shirley Putzig passed on the 8th of may, I was lucky to go and see her on the 6th, I took her her birthday present a tatted teapot in a frame that I started at Hector she was very happy with it. After her service i was thinking of Shirley as i drove the hour home and i have come up with Shirley Angel.

I dont ever remember Shirley in anything but jeans and tee shirts so this is how i think Shirley looks as a angel.

Needle Tatting

Well after teaching my ornament at Hector i was challanged to do one needle tatting. Well i got home Sunday and i got out my needle i have only needle tatted once or twice, But i was determined if i could do it any one can! Well here is the picture of my finished ornamnet i scaned it flat, It isnt a great scan but you can see it is done.

Shirley P

I went to see Shirley today to give her, her wins from the raffles at Hector she won a black frog and two small doilies. Here is a picture of her with her frog.

Hector

Well the big weekend is over, It goes by so quickly. But it is do much fun. There was so many friends to talk to and tease, And classes to get kicked out of. I only went to one class the other class i was to busy to go to. And i taught a class each day also so the days were busy but filled with lots of fun.
