My Canada Adventure

well some of you know I went to Canada for the wonderful tat days!!  Well this year we went up on Thursday and didn't plan on coming home until Monday so we had some free time to see some of Canada, well on Friday morning we went to the  butterfly conservatory it was great!  Then we went to the classes in the afternoon and again all day on Saturday. Then on Sunday we went to Hamilton to see Dundurn Castle it was a great trip and a fun day. Then on Monday we packed the car to come home by the way of Ottawa!  I had no idea it was going to be a all day trip we left the hotel around 7:15 and we didn't get to Ottawa until a little after 3!!  Then we had a very short visit with David and Justine (Maureen Lawrence's children) It was great to see them both but we had to still drive back home. So we left Ottawa around 4:30 and finally go home around 9:30  It was a very long day but it was a good trip.  During the convention I won a auction group that I wanted so badly it was 3 Danish magazines they are wonderful!!!  and a shuttle made by a Danish gentle man

I got this done in time for the Canada Tat Days I will turn her over for Auction or raffle

I finished this quilt top for my grandson now I just have to back it

This is the next quilt i am working on it is a Australian animal Quilt!!

I am going to make two different ones for my room and maybe a wall hanging!!

New York State Fair

I got my results back today from the fair!! All five got accepted i got three blue ribbons( 1st place)!  The doily, my tatted poseys and A Christmas ornament.  My beaded egg only got honorable mention, and my snowflake (rose Window variation) got a third place.  I will try harder next year to get five blues (1st Place)
