Well we finally go the storm they said we would get. So here are some picture taken this morning.

What i have been up to

I havent been tatting much lately. I got out my knitting machine and took a class on how to make scarves and it was great to learn how to do things on this machine, But then i realized there is so much more i could do if i had all the parts to it. So i was looking for another machine and found a great one with more things than i know what to do with so far but i am learning how to use everything slowly. Last night i worked on lace knitting and i made a scarf for one of the girls i work with it turned out beautiful. It is amazing how teh lace just falls off the machine i made a 500 row scarf in about 2 hours.

Yesterday during the day i went down to see Karey for a meeting and getting things ready for Hector!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a fun day to get some tatting done not much to much chatting and having fun.

Tatting Patterns

I have a question about putting a book together, would it be easier to just put the patterns separately or in a book? Which do you think is the best that patterns are for Christmas Ornaments. I have 17 patterns now that i am working on getting diagrammed which i think is the hardest part. But i was just trying to get idea of the best way to get them out i was thinking it might be easier to sell them individually more might actually get made if you only purchase the one or two you want to make. Plesae leave any comment they will be usefull to me.

I finished another ornament on friday but i think it need more work i wanted it to be able to hang nicely without a glass bulb inside it, well it does hang but i think it need more stability so i will work on it some more soon.

I also wanted to show what i got in the exchange i did with the Fringe elememts it was a wonderful winter exchange i got my gift from Tina Neudorf.

New Ornament

Well it is kinda like one I designed in the fall. But I wanted to change it some and try a new idea and leave the glass ball out of the ornament but still have it look like a ornament. So I got out the bangle bracelet and used it for the center to make it round and put a small ring at the top to hold it shape. Now i am working on another idea with out the glass ball in it.

Egg

Well i got the egg finished!!! It took a few days. Here is a picture of it.

New project

Well due to a good friend i havent tatted in a few day now. She send me a new project to do! A beaded egg that has a bunny and flowers, it is all beads and thread so far i have it a third of the way done and i think it looks right so far. I wil try to get some pictures of it later but i dont think i will work on the wedding doily until this is done.
