Gosh, I'm exhausted just realizing you added all those individual yellow 4-ringed fillers (and hid all those ends!) But they do look nice! I think the only way you'll know about the green is to do several (Obviously these details don't faze you!) and step back and see how it looks! This is just so fabulous!
Try it and see how it looks! - if the earlier round of motifs had the extra little rings, then it would probably look more balanced.On the other hand, perhaps it would be gilding the lily - it really does look absolutely and perfectly finished to me!

It's stunning as it is but it does sort of seem to 'need' a final row. Yes, you're right. It does need another row to finish it.
It is GORGEOUS! That little touch of green will put it WAY over the top!
